In the beginner’s mind are many possibilities, but in the expert’s there are few. – Suzuki Roshi
It’s a good thing I’m having this conversation today when I otherwise feel so, well . . . fruitless.
She speaks my mind for me. And she speaks my heart.
How can I connect the two?
Back to the beginning, always back to the beginning.
Rats, I missed the teleconference. Are there transcripts? I really would have loved to hear it, but I had to practice…

Not quite Mika. The call is tonight at 6 p.m. Pacific (you can figure out the rest)

And that’s how we become too smart for our own good?

There are many times when I read your words and they feel, not even the connection of your mind and your heart, but beyond them both.
Begin at the beginning.
Is the beginning the same beginning every time? Or is it always new, an unknown, nakedness?
And I’m with you on loving both these women, their minds and hearts and words.

You said it, Mama.
And Bella, the beginning is always now and it is always new. It is always changing but it is always here and it is always right in front of you, not in your head.

How can you separate the two? Just by thinking about it? But not for real, right?
But seriously, I have enough kids now but I hope the call was productive for those that do not.
