My friends at the Shambhala SunSpace blog asked me to write a New Year’s blessing for their readers. It runs today somewhere over there, and I invite you to have a look. Then I thought, why don’t I just record it and share it with everyone who’s listening? I hope that includes you and that you share it with all you love.
Tears here. This is why we practice, and this is why we don't do it alone. I was so busy judging myself that I didn't know I was doing my best. Why is this thing that is so simple still so hard, so stubborn?

Because you have been practicing the complicated, the hard thing, forever, and the simple thing for only the briefest interludes. That's okay. We keep going.

Thank you, Karen…
And, here's to your best new year also!

I agree your voice is so soothing I could listen to it for ages to set me on the right path. Thank you. Your comments made me realise that I need to take charge of my life from now and not wait for something to happen.
