After the kids return to school,
before the year is over and time disappears,
when patience is thin, and peace seems all but lost,
it’s safe to go back in the water:
Announcing the return of The Plunge workshop
healing weary hearts and minds
with the calming cleanse of deep compassion
a one-day mindfulness retreat
with the good people of Boise
and anyone else along for the swim
Saturday, Oct. 5

  1. Dear Karen;
    I am aleays moved when I read your blog. It is like looking into water, layers upon layers, transparency, depth, soft colours, small fish darting away. It is so open in a way. This summer my family and I have swum (?) a lot in a lake nearby. It is a bit like that, spacious and free. So I love coming here. Thank you for creating that space here.
    I would love to come (though the thought daunts me as well to be honest). But between dream and doing that’s a complex field in this case.
    I hope you have a wonderful day.
